ubuntu sound in firefox

to get sound in Firefox for YouTube videos: sudo apt-get install alsa-oss edit /etc/firefox/firefoxrc and ensure that you have “FIREFOX_DSP=aoss” restart Firefox (**works in latest Ubuntu **) http://nsaunders.wordpress.com/2006/08/20/youtube-sound-fix-for-firefox-15ubuntu-606/
